IBM Sustainability combines AI-powered technology, data, and consulting services to help organizations measure their environmental impact, optimize operations, and work toward their sustainability and net-zero goals.
I have been working with the IBM Sustainability team, where I worked on design systems, illustration tasks, and various e-book reports. This experience allowed me to visually communicate complex environmental topics and showcase the importance of sustainable practices. We created a holistic design system that worked for websites, digital ads, and the environment.
Annual Reports
I designed and illustrated annual reports, research papers, and other long-form publications for the IBM Sustainability team. My role was to transform complex research, environmental data, and technical information into clear and engaging visual narratives.
I developed page layouts, illustrations, diagrams, and supporting graphic elements that guided readers through the content and made key findings easier to understand. Each publication followed the broader visual system while maintaining its own identity, creating a consistent and accessible experience across both digital and print formats.
Illustrations
As part of the IBM Sustainability team, I created custom illustrations that translated complex topics—from wildfires and floods to climate resilience and clean technology—into clear, human-centered visual stories.
I developed a flexible visual language using fine linework, simplified landscapes, organic forms, and a restrained palette inspired by nature. The illustrations were designed to feel approachable without oversimplifying the subject, and to adapt across research reports, e-books, digital campaigns, and marketing materials.
